Leading Custom Lapel Pin Provider PinSource Adds Mexico Office to Growing List of Latin American Locations

Williston, VT (PRWEB) March 7, 2008 -- PinSource (http://www.pinsource.com), a leading global provider of custom lapel pins, announced today the opening of PinSource MX (http://www.pinsource.com.mx) in Mexico City, forging a rapid expansion throughout the region. Ongoing success in Latin America and the potential lapel pin market in Mexico necessitated the addition of the new location.

"Our lapel pin sales have increased almost exponentially each year within the Latin American market, " said Robert Rothman, president of SUI International, Ltd. (http://www.suibrands.com), the parent company of PinSource, "We are eager to see how lapel pin sales in Mexico will contribute to this growth. We hope to continue the tradition of industry leadership there that we've had throughout the globe."

Growth of over 100 percent per year in lapel pins sales in existing locations in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and El Salvador made opening the office in Mexico a natural decision. While Mexico is the fifth PinSource location in Latin America, it will certainly not be the last. New locations in Argentina and Brazil are currently under negotiation.

"Mexico, like the rest of Latin America, seems to be a very promising market for lapel pins and different promotional items," said Charly Bernhardt, managing director of PinSource (http://www.pinsource.com) Latin America. "Brazil and Argentina will hopefully be just the next two stops in our movement throughout the region."

PinSource met almost immediate success when it entered the Latin American lapel pin market in Costa Rica in 2003. PinSource began offering custom lapel pins in the United States in 1986 and expanded into European and Asian markets not long after.

"I'm thrilled about the opportunity to manage the Mexico office for a company that has a legacy in lapel pin and promotional product sales," said Gino González, managing director of PinSource MX. "Eventually, we plan to diversify our product offering beyond lapel pins through SUI's different divisions."

SUI International, Ltd. was founded in 1986 and is based in Williston, VT. In addition to PinSource lapel pins, SUI operates multiple divisions, including Novopromo, a Latin American promotional products company, BrandRoads, a promotional products distributor in the United States and SUI Solutions, a software and certified FileMaker Pro development company.
